![]() I can still recommend this for sure, but I am just not sure it is right for me. If I had a large knife budget that would be easier, but for now this is likely to be my one and only Spyderco. I was unsure about whether to buy a Spyderco in the first place, and now that I have one I'm unsure if I will buy another. The clip was also incredibly strong and I had to give it a wee bit of attention to stop the knife eating my pants. It does work though and the lock up feels secure My last gripe is about the wire clip. As the spring compresses it almost feels rough or crunchy. ![]() The lock seems solid, but the action isn't very smooth. The only things that I didn't care for could be quite personal. The scales are grippy and the jimping on the blade leaves me feeling locked into the knife. The plastic scales feel somewhat cheap but they are solid, and for a spyderco this is cheap, so i can't gripe too much. I've mostly been living with bearing knives so the action on this washer based knife takes a bit of getting used to. I think that the price point of most Spyderco knives put me off but this seemed like a decent entry level knife to try the brand while getting a high performance steel. This is the first Spyderco that I've purchased. ![]()
